Given that it’s the most wonderful time of the year, it only makes sense that we just had to spread some Christmas cheer! We decided to give to…

During this semester, we’ll cover God’s plan for marriage relating to serving our spouse, fighting fair, communicating, forgiving, encouraging, intimacy and more. Whether you are just married, been married for many years or thinking about getting married, this class is for you. We will record each class and post the recordings here. It does take some time to edit the recordings so it may be…

NOLA Mission
Over Spring Break, our students embarked on a mission trip to New Orleans, Louisiana. Starting at 5:30 in the morning on Sunday, March 10, 14 of our students and 5 student sponsors dedicated their free week to serving the people of NOLA. The ride down went smoothly, with an obligatory stop at Buc-ee’s (how could we not?) and some oh-so-fun carpool karaoke! The Bible IS for Preschoolers
The B-I-B-L-E, yes that’s the book for me, I stand alone on the word of God, the B-I-B-L-E. Did you ever sing that song as a kid? Did you believe it? What better time to introduce the Bible than the preschool years? Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.Proverbs 22:6 It’s easy to think that preschoolers have no business with a real Bible, that’s why toddler…
Praying to the Lord of the Harvest
I don’t know about you, but this past Sunday’s service was especially moving for me. To see the connection that we have with the believers in Antioch, all the way up until today! God’s church has always been a sending church and we get the privilege of being a part of it! The goal is to be a “sending” church and not a church that sent last year. One question that came to my mind as I was sitting in…
Supporting Our School’s Teachers and Staff
It takes a lot of time, dedication, preparation, and so much more to be a teacher. We are blessed, in our community, to have the teachers we do to help educate, support and mentor our children. Our April Dollar Day went towards blessing the teachers and staff in our school district. Expectations Exceeded Donations for our April Dollar Day exceeded all of our expectations and brought in $1,693! All of which, provided a pizza lunch for the teachers and staff…

Men’s Conference Recap
God’s message was clear to us, “The Lord is with you, Mighty Warrior!” The Lord is with you, Mighty Warrior! These were the words an angel of the Lord spoke to Gideon years ago. Gideon heard these words while he was hiding from the Midianites in a wine vat. Gideon was far from a Mighty Warrior at that point in his life. However, God saw Gideon for who Gideon was in Him. Gideon was a Mighty Warrior in the Lord’s…

Protect Your House
Not long ago, my fridge at home went out and we needed another one. Being one always looking for a deal I found an open box buy that was in our price point. They delivered it but unfortunately, it didn’t work. Maybe there was a reason it was an open box? Anyways, the place we bought it had a more expensive model that they gave us for the same price. It was delivered, and it worked. Yay! No more living…
Don’t Be Normal
Making goals can be a good thing and can help us stay focused and on track on the things that matter most. According to an article from Statista, the 3 top resolutions for 2018 were eating better, exercising, and saving more money. All of these are great resolutions and worth working towards. Eating better and exercising regularly are very common and most people can agree on how to do each. Simply put, eat less and get moving. However, when it…
