Because of the lack of power and heat, the church building and office suffered broken water pipes and flooding. The water has been extracted but damage still remains. We are in the…

Help Feed Lesotho

A family from our church, Jake, Ginger, and Timber, moved to Africa over a year ago and they have been serving the people there. The people that live in their area are facing a government declared national emergency. A famine, paired with this pandemic, has people of this country starving. Because the families have not been able to work due to the pandemic, they don’t have the resources to buy food. We have a unique opportunity to directly help these…

For The Teel Family

A Message From the Teels As our world stopped turning on July 7th from the sudden loss of our sweet Jagger Dean, our family stopped functioning. From the first phone call, our church Family did what you naturally do and you served us. Grieving parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles all are a part and attend our church and you served them just as well. I want to be vulnerable and honest for a short moment. We know Jagger fell…

Summer Event Changes

Usually, during this time of year, we gear up for the summer. We would have already placed orders, made reservations, contacted volunteers, setup training meetings, given out curriculum, started decorating and so much more. Summer Activities Canceled As of now, all our normal summer activities are canceled. This includes: Crazy Summer Nights Vacation Bible…

Montreal has become the epicenter of COVID cases in Canada with 6,830 people (as of…

A Different Easter But Same Savior

I grew up in church and pretty much if the doors were open, I was there. I’ve had more potlucks than homework assignments and sat in more pews and sang more verses of “Just As I Am” than a Fitbit can count. I remember my dad telling people he had a drug problem growing up. He would say his parents’ drug him to church all the time. Obviously, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. My parents were always…

Sunday Changes

March 13, 2020 As you know, changes continue regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We continue to pray diligently about the decisions God wants us to make during this time. Out of an abundance of caution and concern for our CrossRidge family and our community, with regards to the current health climate surrounding Coronavirus, and on the recommendations of the CDC and Texas Health & Human Services, we are taking these preventative measures: This Sunday we will have online Worship Service only. CrossRidge…

Operation Christmas Child

Drop-off at CrossRidge Church as ended. Please check OCC website for other locations: Each year we partner with Samaritan Ministries for Operation Christmas Child. From children to seniors, people pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Parents often use the project to teach their kids about giving. Year-round volunteers with OCC support these efforts across the country. Along with donating boxes, this year, CrossRidge Church is a drop-off location providing an easier way for…

We Are Witnesses

As followers of Jesus, we are witnesses for Jesus. We are the light of the world. We are called by Jesus to shine the light of Jesus so the lost world around us can see, hear and learn about Jesus. As witnesses for Jesus, we want to help others receive God’s amazing gift of salvation by His grace through their faith in Jesus. What a challenge to be a witness for Jesus! What a privilege to be a witness for Jesus!…
