MIDWEEK RECAP 😤
We jumped right into 1 Thessalonians 4 last Sunday, looking at Paul’s strong words and how they apply to us today. We know that Christ is coming back someday, and it’s important that we wait for him in the right way. While we wait for Jesus, we can use our lives to impact eternity for those around us!
We can’t wait to see you tonight, and then come back next Sunday to see what else this fall has in store! …
Testimony Tuesday – Episode 7. We're approaching the end of our Testimony Tuesday series, we hope you've loved it as much as we have! This week we have Amy Wiese sharing her testimony.
Sometimes the stories of those who grew up in the church can be the most inspiring. Someone already trying to be a good person recognizing thier need for grace and for a savior should encourage all of us. It's easy to feel your testimony isn't powerful without any crazy stories or moments of revelation, but God can use your story no matter what!
Thanks for all you do Mrs. Amy! …
MIDWEEK RECAP 😤
We were in Ruth last Sunday, looking at the story of Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz. We saw how Boaz redeemed the land of Elimelech, and how that points to Jesus’ redemptive grace in our lives! We can see Jesus all throughout the Old Testament, and he was on full display this past Sunday!
If you’ve been out for a while or hang out with us every week, we hope we’ll see you this Sunday! …
Testimony Tuesday – Episode 6. After a week break, we're back with more testimonies from your leaders!

MIDWEEK RECAP 😤
This past Sunday, we looked at Samson and how his continual disobedience led to his downfall. Despite his superhuman strength, Samson disobeyed God in many aspects of his life. He flirted with disaster one too many times, and would pay the price.
However, even after his sin, God used Sampson. We can be encouraged that God still wants to use us, no matter our past! If we had to wait to be perfect to come to God, we would never come to him. If you’re scared to come to Jesus because of your past, we would love to hear from you!
See you at 9:00 this Sunday! …
Testimony Tuesday – Episode 5. Another Tuesday, another testimony 😤
This week, it's Keefer Fields, the youth sponsor OG with the dad basketball skills that dreams are made of. Take a listen as he shares how Gos used his family to bring Keefer back to church, and eventually back to a relationship with Christ.
We can't wait to see you all this Sunday! …
Sunday recap time 😤
We looked at the story of Gideon this Sunday and saw how God used him to bring victory to the Israelites. In order to make sure that everyone knew God was behind the victory, Gideon had to follow some pretty crazy instructions. Seeing how God used and blessed Gideon in his obedience should encourage us as we strive to live more for Jesus every day!
Have a great first week back at school, we’ve got some big things ahead! …

If you missed Dating Dilemmas yesterday, here’s your quick recap!
We started by looking at what we have to do in our seasons of singleness, before we’re ready to date. If we’re not recklessly pursuing God with our lives and we’re not ready for marriage, then we’re not ready to date.
We then took a closer look at 1 Timothy 4:12, as we saw what it means to find a partner that leads in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Your partner should be running the race towards Jesus just as fast as you!
We ended the day in Judges 4, as we saw how God can use anyone, anywhere, no matter our story. If we’ve messed up dating in the past, there is hope for our future with Jesus!
Don’t forget about our back to school party this Friday at 7:00pm, but we’ll see you this Sunday at 9:00 like always! 😤 …
If you missed this Sunday, here’s a recap of what we talked about!
Our very own Dany Silva spoke over what it means to follow God when it doesn’t make sense, and why it’s best for us. Following God might not always be what’s easiest or what seems most enjoyable, but it is always what’s best.
Be here at 9:00 this Sunday for Dating Dilemmas, as we see what the seventh commandment means to us and how to navigate dating God’s way. …
Testimony Tuesday – Episode 3. Another Tuesday, another testimony 😤
Watch as Brandon Arlington shares his story of growing up in church, meeting Jesus on a mission trip, and how his life has never been the same since. It’s easy to feel like your testimony is weak if you’ve simply grown up in church, but that’s far from the truth. God uses everyone’s story to reach others, and we hope you feel encouraged by Brandon’s!
Come by this Sunday at 9:00 to say hey to Brandon and dive into God’s Word with us! …
If you’ve been gone for a while, it’s time to come back.

This Sunday we were in Joshua 2:1-24, as we looked as the story of Rahab. If you missed it, here’s a quick recap:
-Rahab was a prostitute living in Jericho.
-Rahab hid spies from Joshua, even though it was treasonous.
-Rahab was spared when Jericho fell because of her actions.
Now it may seem weird that the story of a prostitute is so important in the Bible, but it shows us how God can use anyone from any situation for His glory. No matter how crazy or hard it may seem, God always has a calling for us, and we can always take action and live out that calling!
How are you living out your calling this week? …

- Backpack Drive
What’s better than giving out backpacks to kids? Giving out backpacks full of school supplies to kids. Each year we donate backpacks and school supplies to LEISD. This year we set the bar high at wanting to pack and give out 70 backpacks. CrossRidge responded by not only meeting that goal but by going above and beyond. We gave out 76 backpacks to kids at the LEISD Back to School Bash. Utilizing money given to Dollar Days and donations from […]
- Student Camp Recap
What do you get when you combine the best people you know with the worst food you’ve ever had? A week at church camp, of course! This past week CrossRidge sent 33 students and 7 adults (considering they volunteer for the youth group, I’m using the word “adult” loosely here) off to FUGE Camp in Pineville, Louisiana to learn more about their Creator and serve the local community. One thing that really separates this particular church camp from other camps […]

- Great to be Back!
What an awesome night we had with our students this past Wednesday. Over 70 students and over 20 adult leaders showed up to our first student event since March 11. What a blessing it was to see so many familiar faces and to see new faces as well. Well, not faces exactly. Everybody was wearing masks and social distancing but at least we got to see everyone after being apart for so long. Usually, by now, we have had an […]

My dear brothers and sisters, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger, 20 for human anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness. 21 Therefore, ridding yourselves of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent, humbly receive the implanted word, which is able to save […]
Each Sunday, all 7th through 12th graders go to worship at 10:45 am and meet at 9:00 am in the Student Center for small groups. Small groups is a time for students to connect with God and with each other. It also challenges them to dig deeper into God’s word.
Wednesday nights, during the spring and fall semesters, students meet from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm. It is a time for students to unwind during the week, hang out with each other, and hear God’s Word.
Throughout the Year…
We offer many different ways for students to get involved and engage with others. From camps throughout the summer, to mission trips and other activities, there is something for everybody.
