Do your actions reflect what you say you believe in? Would your friends be able to tell you're a Christian without having to ask? The way we live should point others back to Jesus.

We've almost made it through the semester, let's finish strong!

It’s not always easy being a Christian. Sometimes it seems like you’re missing out. Sometimes it seems like God doesn’t want you to have fun. Sometimes life feels restricted. We get it. But when you fully surrender your life to Jesus and live on mission for him, you being to experience life to the fullest.

God doesn’t give us rules to hurt us, he gives us constraints to guide us towards life in his design.

See you Sunday!

Life is hard. We get it. But we’re not promised easy lives as Christians. Trials will still come our way and life will still be hard. We have the peace and comfort of Jesus to get us through those trials. We know that the things of the world are only temporary.

We’ll see you tonight students, always reach out if you need anything from us. We’re here for you 😤

Our relationship with God should be more than a mindless task. We’re quick to say we’re Christians, but do our actions reflect that? Don’t let God simply be the Lord of your mouth, but let every action you take be a reflection of his lordship over your life.

See you tonight, students 😤

Last Sunday we looked at how we can have hope through the evil of this world. It can be hard to see God moving in our lives sometimes, but when we block out all the noise, we realize that he’s there with us through it all.

Take time this week to prioritize your relationship with God and experience him in your life!

Testimony Tuesday – Episode 7. We're approaching the end of our Testimony Tuesday series, we hope you've loved it as much as we have! This week we have Amy Wiese sharing her testimony.

Sometimes the stories of those who grew up in the church can be the most inspiring. Someone already trying to be a good person recognizing thier need for grace and for a savior should encourage all of us. It's easy to feel your testimony isn't powerful without any crazy stories or moments of revelation, but God can use your story no matter what!

Thanks for all you do Mrs. Amy!

Testimony Tuesday – Episode 6. After a week break, we're back with more testimonies from your leaders!

This week we've got Al Gaines! Take a listen as he shares some of his journey with the Lord, and how he felt called into ministry. Thanks for all you do and for being so real Al!

Testimony Tuesday – Episode 3. Another Tuesday, another testimony 😤

Watch as Brandon Arlington shares his story of growing up in church, meeting Jesus on a mission trip, and how his life has never been the same since. It’s easy to feel like your testimony is weak if you’ve simply grown up in church, but that’s far from the truth. God uses everyone’s story to reach others, and we hope you feel encouraged by Brandon’s!

Come by this Sunday at 9:00 to say hey to Brandon and dive into God’s Word with us!

  • Backpack Drive
What’s better than giving out backpacks to kids? Giving out backpacks full of school supplies to kids. Each year we donate backpacks and school supplies to LEISD. This year we set the bar high at wanting to pack and give out 70 backpacks. CrossRidge responded by not only meeting that goal but by going above and beyond. We gave out 76 backpacks to kids at the LEISD Back to School Bash. Utilizing money given to Dollar Days and donations from […]
  • Student Camp Recap
What do you get when you combine the best people you know with the worst food you’ve ever had? A week at church camp, of course! This past week CrossRidge sent 33 students and 7 adults (considering they volunteer for the youth group, I’m using the word “adult” loosely here) off to FUGE Camp in Pineville, Louisiana to learn more about their Creator and serve the local community. One thing that really separates this particular church camp from other camps […]

  • Great to be Back!
What an awesome night we had with our students this past Wednesday. Over 70 students and over 20 adult leaders showed up to our first student event since March 11. What a blessing it was to see so many familiar faces and to see new faces as well. Well, not faces exactly. Everybody was wearing masks and social distancing but at least we got to see everyone after being apart for so long. Usually, by now, we have had an […]

Each Sunday, all 7th through 12th graders go to worship at 10:45 am and meet at 9:00 am in the Student Center for small groups. Small groups is a time for students to connect with God and with each other. It also challenges them to dig deeper into God’s word.
