Dealing with disappointment when everything gets canceled … During this global pandemic, one common thread that affects most people is that things or events get canceled.  Sometimes, these events are monumental.  Cancellations of birthday parties, retirement parties, graduations, funerals and even weddings seem commonplace today.  With each of these situations, disappointment is lurking around the corner.  Many of these things can and will be rescheduled, when it is deemed safe.  Some things will pass by, gone forever.  These situations leave…

As a church, we encourage our church members to have daily quiet times. A specific time set aside to meet privately with God. We encourage children, who have become believers, to have daily quiet times too. Consistent time with the Father and in His word is how we come to truly know God.
