We are almost five months into the year. How are you? How is your family? Are you struggling? Are things going well? No matter what you are going through, you are not alone. No matter what you are facing, God is with you. Psalm 120:1 says, “In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.” God wants to hear from you. God wants you to call out to Him. God has plans for you and there is plenty of the year left to get things done.
Let the Lord know you need Him. Let Him know when you are overwhelmed in your parenting. Let Him know when life gets hard. Let Him know when your marriage is not what you want it to be. Lean into Him during the hard times. But also, let His people know you need them too. God has brought together the best community of people here at CrossRidge Church. God has joined us together as family to do life together. Let’s roll up our sleeves and do the hard work together. Let’s share our parenting struggles. Let’s pray together when life is hard. Let’s study God’s word together and grow in our faith. Let’s serve together and grow His kingdom.
Let’s rejoice together too! Psalm 66:1 tells us, “Let the whole earth shout joyfully to God! Sing about the glory of his name; make his praise glorious.” Satan would love for us to get caught up on the hard things, but let’s remember to praise God for He is worthy of our praise. Let’s encourage each other and share what God has done in our lives. Let’s take the time to praise His holy name for He is good. Let’s finish out this year strong. There’s plenty of the year left and plenty that needs to get done. Let’s make His name famous!
