Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day

This Sunday is Mother’s Day. Some of us are mothers, while others are still longing for that day. Some of us still have our mothers with us, while others will be holding memories close that day. The title of mom is a very important role in the family. It is not an easy job, but it is a rewarding job. There are good days and there are overwhelming days. No matter what kind of day you are having, I want you to know that we see you. We see you pour into your family. We see you bring your family to church and teach them about Jesus. We see you wipe away tears and give encouraging words. We see you succeed and sometimes we see you struggle. Always remember that all of this is Kingdom work. Always remember that we are here to support you on this journey. Always remember that we are cheering you on and are thankful for all you do. May God encourage and strengthen you daily.

“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.’ Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” Proverbs 31:28-31

Here are a few of the many things you are on a daily basis. Embrace these opportunities to serve and love your children.
