Thanks to the generosity of our members, we collected and delivered 233 Samaritan Purse Operation Christmas Child boxes to Disciples of Christ Bible Church on November 17.
Your support and willingness to give bless not only those that receive these shoeboxes but also those that help collect and deliver them. It is always a blessing to show up with vehicles packed from door to door.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

Shoebox gifts are given to children regardless of their gender, ethnicity, or faith and they do not have to do or say anything to receive the gifts. Samaritan’s Pures works in and through local Christians in each country who understand the context in their area. These simple gifts—packed with love in Jesus’ Name—deliver hope and joy to children all around the world Over 75,000 pastors and church leaders share the Gospel every year at outreach events where shoebox gifts are delivered.
