Happy New Year! A new year. New opportunities. Same God. What do you have planned for this next year? What are you looking forward to in 2022? More importantly, what does God have planned for this new year? As we say goodbye to 2021 and start another year, I want to encourage you to earnestly seek God’s will for your life. I want to encourage you to spend time with God each day to see what He has planned for you. Psalm 37:23-24 says, “A person’s steps are established by the Lord, and he takes pleasure in his way. Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, because the Lord supports him with his hand.” Are there new things that God is calling you to do this year? Are there changes that need to be made? New things and changes can be hard, but God tells us He is there to support us.
A new year is a great time to make spiritual goals like reading through the whole Bible and memorizing scripture and the books of the Bible. It’s a great time to mend strained relationships. It is also the perfect time to join a life team or find a place to serve. The possibilities are endless. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and turn that calendar to the new year. God has so much in store for us and I can’t wait to see what 2022 brings our way!
