Delivering Goodness

With turkey, ham, green beans, dressing, pies and more, 193 seniors in Little Elm, were delivered Thanksgiving lunch to their door. Our CrossRidge Cares team did an amazing job serving senior residents in Lakeside Manor Senior Apartments this past Saturday.

Al Gaines, Connections Pastor at CrossRidge, with help from Zandi Mccaroll, led the charge in coordinating everything and making it a huge success. Donations came in from surrounding company’s to pay for the food while Tower’s Tap House prepared and cooked it.

All the residents were surprise and extremely grateful. These are just a couple of the notes we received.

Just wanted to say thank you for the Thanksgiving Meal. I know a lot of the Seniors appreciated it. Some of them probably wouldn’t have had a Thanksgiving meal. I’m sure it took a lot of effort.”

Our THANKSGIVING LUNCH that was delivered to us was an excellently prepared meal. Lots of quality food. God is good in so many ways. I admire your church and leadership for taking care of our entire complex.”
