This week has been full of incredible moments of connection, service, and blessing! On Tuesday, several of our staff and deacons had the privilege of attending the LEISD Teacher Convocation Service, where we had the chance to meet new teachers and staff and reconnect with returning ones. It was an exciting opportunity to show our appreciation for all they do to invest in the lives of students. To say thank you, we handed out pens, multi-tools, and other fun goodies; just a small token of our gratitude for their dedication and hard work. We pray for a fantastic school year ahead for each of them!
Just days later, we had the honor of being part of the LEISD Back to School Bash! This event was an amazing opportunity to bless the students in our community. Vendors generously gave away tons of school supplies from paper and folders to pencils and more! But, we didn’t stop there. Our church family also provided a little extra fun, yo-yos, to add a smile to the students’ faces. It was so rewarding to meet and chat with families, both new and old to the community, and to hear their stories.
