What’s better than giving out backpacks to kids? Giving out backpacks full of school supplies to kids.
Each year we donate backpacks and school supplies to LEISD. This year we set the bar high at wanting to pack and give out 70 backpacks. CrossRidge responded by not only meeting that goal but by going above and beyond. We gave out 76 backpacks to kids at the LEISD Back to School Bash.
Utilizing money given to Dollar Days and donations from our church members, we packed 38 elementary backpacks, 16 middle school backpacks, and 22 high school backpacks. Each backpack contained a New Testament Bible and a $20 gift card.
