CrossRidge Women’s Conference Recap: A Weekend of Worship, Joy, and Blessing!

Held at the beautiful Tally Retreat Center at Camp Copass, our 2025 Women’s Conference was an unforgettable weekend filled with joy, laughter, heartfelt worship, and powerful truth from God’s Word. With 99 women registered, the retreat was more than just a getaway, it was a divine appointment.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere buzzed with expectation. Old friends greeted each other with warm hugs, and first-timers were immediately welcomed into the fold like lifelong sisters. The excitement never faded, even through quiet moments of reflection or late-night giggles echoing down the hallways.
The theme of the weekend, “Blessed & Happy,” brought us straight into the heart of Jesus’ first recorded sermon, the Beatitudes from Matthew 5. Our speakers, Kim Farnell, Lauren Marsh, Aloa Harris, and Nana Gaines, led us through each of the Eight Beatitudes with authenticity, wisdom, and encouragement. Whether it was Kim sharing about being “poor in spirit,” or Nana diving into what it truly means to be “pure in heart,” each session stirred something within us.
And let’s talk about the worship! Voices lifted in unison, tears flowing freely, hands raised in surrender, it was a little taste of heaven. We weren’t just singing songs; we were declaring truth over our lives and soaking in the presence of God. It was moving. It was healing. It was beautiful.
One of the most beautiful aspects of the weekend was watching new friendships blossom. Women from all walks of life bonded over shared stories, honest conversations, and a whole lot of laughter. We cried together and prayed together. The unity was undeniable, and the love was real.
Whether you came weary and in need of rest or on fire and ready to serve, God met each one of us exactly where we were. His Word was living and active, and His Spirit was clearly present.
