Up All Night

Up All Night

If you want to see what you’re made of, try staying up all night with teenagers running and playing group games and see how long you last. With our student ministers and our student leaders, Friday night started with check-in and pizza at the church. Then, we loaded up and traveled to Group Dynamix in Carrolton, where we spent the night playing team-based games.

With games such as Radioactive Goat’s Tail, Live-Action Pokemon, Sharks and Lifeguards, Glow-in-the-Dark Dodge Ball, and many more, students and adults participated and played to see who or which group was the best, fastest, slowest, and sometimes most cunning. Other activities included a ropes course, archery, pillow jump, 20-person foosball, and a mega-sized Lite-Brite.

Our night concluded with returning to the church in the wee hours of the morning. After settling down, most fell asleep in their sleeping bags while others tried their best to stay awake. A buffet of donuts was provided to those students who managed to wake up before their parents came.

We had a great time and can’t wait till the next one.

** Actually, the adults can wait till the next one. They’re still trying to recover from this one.
