Spring has sprung, or at least I hope so. We all know how crazy the weather can be in Texas this time of year. I am being hopeful and am going to focus on Spring and all the good things that come with it. Psalm 23 makes me think of Spring, green pastures and renewing of life.
The Lord is my shepherd; I have what I need. He lets me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet waters. He renews my life; he leads me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me.”
Psalm 23:1-3
I love Spring and I love knowing that God is there to leads us, provide for us and renew us. Let’s take a moment to embrace Spring and some good things we can do to remind us that God has everything covered.
Sing. Turn that music on and worship God. Nothing turns a day around like a praise session.
Play. Play with your husband, with your kids and with your friends.
Read. Read your Bible. Spend that time with God each day.
Ignore. Ignore the lies of the enemy. Ignore what the world is shouting at you and trust God.
Notice. Look around and see who God has placed around you.
Go. Go to church. Go to Bible Study. Go to Life Team. Go tell others about Jesus.
