As we head into the fall semester, we are so excited about all that is happening in our Ridge Kids Children’s Ministry! From Sunday mornings to Wednesday nights, there are plenty of opportunities for your children to learn about God, grow in their faith, make friends, and have lots of fun along the way!
Sunday Mornings
On Sunday mornings, our Preschool, Sunday School, and Club 56 classes are taking a deep dive into The Gospel Project curriculum. This Christ-centered, chronological Bible study unfolds from Genesis to Revelation, helping our Ridge Kids discover the big story of the Bible and understand how it points to Jesus.
Through songs, games, activities, and time in God’s Word, children learn age-appropriate biblical truths and grow in their love for Jesus each week.
During second service, our kindergarten through fourth grade children worship together in Kids’ Church. Using curriculum from Answers in Genesis, Kids’ Church walks alongside what children are learning in Sunday School providing opportunities to go even deeper. Children work on Scripture memorization, learn how God’s Word applies to everyday life, and discover that following Jesus is something they can live out every day.
Wednesday Nights
Our fall Wednesday nights kick off September 2nd! We can’t wait to welcome kids back for evenings filled with fun, friendship, and biblical learning for all ages.
Our Preschool and Kindergarten children will dive into Psalm 23 for Kids! Through songs, Bible stories, games, and hands-on activities, they’ll explore this treasured psalm and learn more about God’s care, love, and guidance.
Our first through sixth graders will jump into Bible Skills, Drills, and Thrills! This high energy experience focuses on Scripture memorization, biblical navigation, and learning how to understand the Bible in its proper context.
Each Wednesday night, children will rotate through three different stations:
- · Outdoor Rec: Games, movement, and plenty of fun!
- · Bible Skills: Learning how to navigate and use their Bibles with Ms. Lauren, our Children’s Minister.
- · Scripture Memory: Working on Scripture memory with their grade level teacher.
We believe church should be a place where kids love attending, love learning, and most of all, love Jesus! We would love your children to join us this fall as we learn, grow, worship, and have fun together!
