Preteen Camp Recap

Preteen Camp Recap

Summer Camp! A week like no other. We took 67 children and adults to Camp Copass this year. We also had 19 TREK leaders there from CrossRidge Church. We sweated, we swam, we fished, we made crafts, we cooked pancakes and we played Gaga ball, just to name a few activities. We stayed up too late, we had fun at the carnival, we laughed a lot, we ate slobber jobber lollipops and we watched fireworks. We worshipped, we prayed, and we studied the Bible with over 700 other campers. Many children grew in their faith and many children accepted Jesus as the Lord of their lives, and eternity was changed forever.

School will be starting soon; schedules will be changing, and the busyness of the school year will be here again. As your calendar fills up and you get overwhelmed with all that needs to be done, remember that your children need Jesus. They need to be in church with like-minded friends learning about Jesus each Sunday. Many seeds were planted last week at camp. Let’s work on this faith journey together. Let us continue to worship, pray, and learn from the Bible with your children. Let’s work together to continue to change eternity forever. Your children are worth it.
