Our vision at CrossRidge Church is to glorify God as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ as we make disciples of all nations.
Our vision statement doesn’t change because COVID-19 is here. The end of the story doesn’t change because of COVID-19. God is still on His throne and in control of all things. In Isaiah 43:18-19A God says, “Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not perceive it?” God has the power and privilege to change things up in this world, however and whenever He desires. We can’t see the big picture of God’s complete plan. Truth be told, things may never return to “normal”.
We have a responsibility to abide in Him and remember we are never alone as we walk through change and hardships. Each day is an opportunity to glorify God Almighty. Each day is an opportunity to share the gospel message with the lost in this world. Each day is an opportunity to make disciples within our homes. Each day is an opportunity to love people. Each day is an opportunity to share what you have with those less fortunate. Each day is an opportunity to worship the one true living God. Each day is an opportunity to be the church. Colossians 4:5 says, “Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.” The church is still here, it just doesn’t have walls like it used to. We are the church. You are the church. God is still in control. Are we doing our part? Are you doing your part? What opportunity can you make the most of today?
