Let’s Get Together

Let’s Get Together

Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me.’

Matthew 19:14

Oh dear friends, I have some wonderful news for you!  In Matthew 19:14, “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me.’” Therefore, I am excited to announce that we will be getting together, live and in person, with your children for Kids’ Church on a few select Wednesday nights this fall.  I am so excited to be able to worship King Jesus together with my Kinder-4th grade friends again at church! We will meet October 7th from 7-8:15pm.  Registration is required to limit the numbers for safety.  Our volunteers will be wearing face coverings and passing a temperature check.  The Women’s Ministry will be meeting in the sanctuary during this same time too.

As we continue to navigate through this pandemic together, I want to tell you how thankful I am to see you, as the parents, really stepping up in your roles as the foundational faith builders in the lives of your children.  With our Children’s and Preschool Ministries being on hold recently, that full responsibility has fallen to you.  In coming alongside you, as your church, I want to remind you that each week on our website, we post a link to an age-appropriate Sunday School lesson, complete with video clips, activity pages and leader helps for you.  Once you sign up for your free account, it will walk you through each week’s Bible lesson, step by step. It is a complete worship experience for you and your child to enjoy.  Please take advantage of this wonderful asset.

For those of you who have returned to Sunday in-person services with your children, we also have small individual activity packets for your children or preschoolers to enjoy during the worship service.  It includes an activity page with a Bible lesson and a coloring page, as well as a pencil and crayons.  We hope that these are a blessing to your family.  I look forward to seeing your children on the 7th.
