Jesus Is Worth Celebrating

Jesus Is Worth Celebrating

Most people love the holidays, especially children.  As parents, we try to point our children to the real reason we celebrate Christmas.  God loved us so much that He sent His one and only Son to come to earth and be born as a baby.  Jesus wasn’t any ordinary baby though.  Jesus was God in the flesh.  Jesus, the perfect Son of God, left heaven, coming to earth in order that He might bring us back to God.  Jesus is Immanuel, God with us!  By Jesus’ perfect life and sacrifice for us on the cross, He made a way for us to be forgiven and restored to right relationship with God.  Wow!  This is certainly worth celebrating and celebrating in a big way!

5th and 6th Grade Children:  With all the Christmas programs, shopping, cooking and decorating, I want to encourage you to take one night out of the season and allow your child to celebrate the gift that is Jesus!  If you have a 5th or 6th grader, I would love to invite them to our Club 56 Ugly Christmas Sweater Party on Wednesday, December 9th at 7pm.  We will socially distance and masks are encouraged.  Registration is required to limit our numbers.  We will sing, play, eat and fellowship together, all while wearing tacky sweaters.  We will also share the real reason for Christmas.

Children in grades K-4th:  Please join us for a Birthday Party for King Jesus.  We will celebrate together the birth of our Savior with cupcakes, party games, singing, and hearing the true account from the Bible of Jesus’ arrival.  We will have our Jesus Birthday Party on Wednesday, December 16th at 7pm.  Registration is required and masks are encouraged.  Please don’t hesitate to register your child, as space is limited.
