But the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.’ So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.”

Happy Easter! The angel shared such good news about the empty tomb years ago. Christ may have been crucified, but He had risen and the tomb was empty. Great news today is that the tomb is still empty and we still serve a Risen Savior! The women departed quickly and ran to share the good news with great joy. What about you? Are you sharing the good news? Everyone needs to know that Jesus is alive. It’s time to share this good news, not just to the people you meet on the street, but in your homes too. Tell your kids about Jesus. Let them know about the great joy that comes from knowing Him. Teach them what Easter is really about and then bring them to church so we can teach them too. JESUS IS ALIVE! This news is just too good not to share.
