Jesus Is Alive

Jesus Is Alive

Passion Week, a week like no other. A week that started with Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem where the people shouted “Hosanna” and ended with Good Friday where the same people were shouting, “Crucify Him!” There was a temple clearing, a trip to the Mount of Olives, a last supper, feet washing and an unfair trial in between. A week that ended with a crucifixion, a death, and a burial. A week where Jesus chose to lay down His life for you and for me. The people chose Barabbas over Jesus, but Jesus chose us.

Fortunately, it didn’t end there. Three days later Jesus rose from the dead. He defeated death. He defeated Satan. He made a way for us to have a relationship with God. He made a way for our sins to be forgiven. He made a way for our lives to be changed forever. He did so much for us that week. As much as He did that week, we still must do our part. We still must ask for forgiveness and ask Jesus to come into our lives. Have you done your part? Have you accepted this gift? If not, what better time than Easter to do this? What better way to celebrate Easter?

Why are you looking for the living among the dead?” asked the men. “He is not here, but he has risen!”

Luke 24:5-6

We look forward to you joining us this Easter Sunday at one of our services . Our service times are 9:00am and 10:45am. There is something available for all ages.
