Harvest

Harvest

Fall is the time to reap a harvest. How is your crop looking? Have you been planting seeds in your life? Have you been tending to those around you and helping them grow?

Some days life can be hard. Some days it can be easy to become weary, but Galatians 6:9 tells us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” This is a good reminder to continue to do the good, even when it is hard. It is a good reminder to be patient as we plant seeds in our families and those around us, and then wait for the harvest.

It is never too early, and it is never too late to plant seeds in our children, seeds of God’s truth, seeds of respect, values, discipline and good habits. It is always the right time to do good to others and teach our children how to do good. It is critical that we teach our children to do the good work that God calls us to do before the world teaches them otherwise. It is so important that we teach our children how much they need Jesus before the world teaches them that they don’t.

Here at CrossRidge Church, we gladly walk alongside you on this journey. We are happy to roll up our sleeves and dig in to do the hard work with you. We can’t wait to see your family each week and help plant seeds of truth. Let’s get busy together and tend to our crops.
