Delivering Slices of Love for LEISD

Delivering Slices of Love for LEISD

September Dollar Days was a special one! We love getting to bless the teachers and all those who pour so much into the lives of the kids in our town.

This month, we showed our appreciation for teachers, administrators, and other staff for Little Elm ISD by bringing lunch to all the local schools, administration buildings, and even local charter school North Texas Collegiate Academy.

The numbers we delivered this month were BIG. A total giving of $1,812, 293 pizzas, 13 campuses, 1,153 LEISD staff members, and more than a dozen volunteers over the course of two days.

Whew, that’s a lot!

Our hope is always that the people we bless with Dollar Days feel not only our appreciation for how they bless our town, but also that they would feel the love of Jesus. We’ve been touched at the response online and the response we received in person while delivering pizzas.

Walker Middle School expressed their gratitude, saying, “We are incredibly grateful to CrossRidge Church for their kind gesture in bringing a delicious pizza lunch to our dedicated teachers and staff here at Walker Middle School. Your support means the world to us!”

Lakeview Elementary School conveyed their appreciation: “Thank you for the delicious pizza and thank you so much for being so thoughtful. May our Lord continue to bless you as you encourage others with the hands and feet of Jesus.”

A very special thanks to the owner of Joe’s Pizza, Gilly, who came through big time by having so many pizzas ready to go over the course of both days. And a huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped make September Dollar Days such a huge success!
