On Father’s Day we celebrated Baby/Parent Dedication. By we, I mean everyone had a reason to celebrate. It’s easy to think that just the families involved in the dedication of their children would be celebrating, but this is an opportunity for our entire church family to lift up shouts of joy as we get to join our families in the raising of their children God’s way. We get to walk alongside the parents giving encouragement and support. We get to pray over these families as they are brought to our minds. We get to love, serve, and teach these children about Jesus. We get to watch these children as they grow in their faith.
What about you? Are you looking for an opportunity to love on and serve our families? Are you looking to make a direct and personal impact on the growth of God’s Kingdom? There are many places of service available to our members and regular attenders of six months or longer. There are many opportunities to teach our children and students about Jesus. Our families need you. Eternity is at stake. People need Jesus, including our children.
