CrossRidge Church just finished our sermon series through the book of Titus. We learned just how much better we are together. We learned how important it is to do church the right way. We also learned about the importance of doing good works. Learning is great, but putting what we learned into action is even better.
Paul emphasized good works in the book of Titus. Titus 3:14 says, “And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.” Now that we have learned to devote ourselves to good works, let’s join together and do good works. Let’s join together and minister to others and invest in others. Let’s keep our eyes and ears open for opportunities every day to do good works. Good works let our light shine and show Jesus to all those around us. Our joy in Jesus should produce good works for Jesus and we know that good works are profitable to everyone. The good news about good works is that they are good for us! Doing good works helps our walk with God. Doing good works helps our worship of God. Doing good works helps our witness for God.
