What a wonderful and monumental week of Vacation Bible School. There were countless hours of preparation that went into this event. There were too many memories and new friendships made to even count. Many hours of sleep were lost. Heaps and piles of food was donated to the Little Elm Food Bank and endless snacks were devoured throughout the week.
There were also 2100 water balloons used during recreation time. There were 17 crews of kids going place to place. We had 300 children registered for Vacation Bible School and 132 registered volunteers. The children raised $1,426.98 for the Little Elm Food Bank. There were 100s of God Sightings throughout the week and at least 8 lame jokes told.
That’s a lot of numbers involved with VBS, but the best numbers? Well, we had 17 children accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We had 11 children recommit their lives to Jesus. Best of all, we have one God that was there each and every second of the week. We have one God who provided for all of our needs last week. We have one God who is worthy of it all. We have one God who is an awesome God!
