Over 100 men attended this year’s No Fear Men’s Conference. From Friday night to Saturday afternoon, men heard from Pastor Marc how “God has not given [them] a spirit of fear, but one of love and sound judgment.” He spoke about how God has equipped us to be fearless, courageous warriors for Jesus! How their wives, children, families, friends, and all those around them need them to live by faith, not fear.
During the three sessions, time was taken out for groups of men to discuss the message presented. Giving them time to break down the message further. Message points included fearing being positive and negative, how we can battle fear with faith, and how God has given us a spirit of power, love, and sound judgment.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
2 Timohty 1:7
During the sessions, the men ate and got to know each other. Along with food, they participated in a mini scavenger hunt and a tournament of Happy Salmon. Seeing all of them playing Happy Salmon was a sight to behold. If you have never played it, buy the game, grab a group of friends, and try it yourself.
God did amazing work through our Men’s Ministry this weekend: strangers became friends, God’s Word was heard, and all were encouraged.
