Welcome To October

Welcome To October

Welcome to October. There are so many things to look forward to this month. The weather finally starts to get cooler. There is plenty of football to watch. There is pumpkin everything available. As the year starts to wind down, it is also a good time for reflection. How are you doing? What are your priorities in life? What are you thinking about on a daily basis? Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Here are a few things to think about this month.

Others. God has placed people in your life for a reason. How are you loving others?

Christ. This seems so obvious, but have you accepted Him as the Lord of your life?

Tithing. How are you using your time, talents and treasures that God has given you?

Obeying. We show God that we love Him when we obey Him. God blesses our obedience.

Bible. Is your Bible dusty? Are you spending time in God’s word each day?

Eternity. Who have you shared the Gospel with lately? Eternity is at stake. People need Jesus.

Resurrection. The cross changes everything, every single day.
