For our December Dollar Day, we used the power of a simple dollar to provide gifts to children in our area with one or more incarcerated parent. Partnering with Angel Tree, this was an incredible opportunity to not just spread Christmas cheer, but to share the ultimate gift – Jesus Christ. We are so thankful that we get to serve our community together as a church family!
We raised over $2,200 in giving for our December Dollar Day; what an amazing amount! Every last cent was used to purchase, wrap, and deliver gifts to children this Christmas. This would not have been possible without your faithful giving, as well as the amazing church members that helped wrap and deliver presents. Thank you for join us in this Dollar Day!
By partnering with Angel Tree, we were able to deliver presents to children with one or more incarcerated parents. It can be extremely difficult to be separated from family on Christmas, and it truly is an honor to show the love of Jesus to those who need it most in this season. Even though it may just be a simple gift, we trust that the Lord can work in amazing ways!
We served seven families in our community, delivering gifts for thirty children! We may never know that full impact these gifts have on those children and their families, but we know that seeds of the gospel have been planted in their lives.
Continuing to serve
As we enter the new year, join us in praying for these families. Pray for their peace and comfort, as they remain separated from a loved one. Pray that these gifts would lead to even greater encounters with the Lord. Lastly, pray that God would bring incredible fruit from this Dollar Day.
