This year is flying by. There is still time left to get things done the last four months of the year. Let’s not just do them though, let’s do them well. Let’s do them as Colossians 3:23-24 tells us to, “Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people, knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ.” Let’s take this opportunity to finish this year for the Lord and not for the approval of people. Here are a few things to put on your to-do list for the Fall.
Serve. Do you have a place of service? Let us know if you need help getting plugged in.
Enjoy time with your family. Don’t get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the upcoming holidays and miss out on quality family time.
Pray for others. There is power in prayer.
Trunk or Treat planning. Mark those calendars and get those ideas flowing.
Eagerly await the return of Jesus. Are you ready?
Make disciples in your home. Read God’s word to them. Pray with them. Be an example to them.
Be a cheerful giver. God loves a cheerful giver. Honor God in your giving.
Encourage your spouse daily. Everyone needs a cheerleader in their lives.
Read your Bible. Make it part of your daily routine.
