Thanks to all who attended our first Pizza and Painting Party for CrossRidge women’s ministry! Seventy-six women gathered on June 10 for an exciting evening of artistic expression, fellowship, and, of course, pizza.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with tables full of colorful art supplies and blank journals, ready to be transformed into personal works of art. After dining on delicious pizza and chatting with friends, we each embarked on an artistic journey.

Amy Smith guided the group through each step for various options for cover designs. She patiently encouraged us to trust the process, helped us choose color palettes, and generally kept us all laughing. Some of us discovered (or unleashed) our inner Monets … there are some seriously talented women at CrossRidge! Others simply relished the opportunity to relax and enjoy the company of our fellow sisters in Christ.
The night beautifully paired the desire for creativity and the need for fellowship, and the evening’s success has encouraged us to schedule more women’s ministry nights in the fall! Stay tuned.
Many thanks to Amy Smith for leading, to the volunteers who helped set up, tear down, serve pizza, distribute supplies, and take pictures, and to all the dads who held down the fort at home.
