Back to School Prayer Walk
At CrossRidge, we have students from different ISDs such as Little Elm, Denton, The Colony, Frisco and more and we will be praying over 30 different campuses. On August 11, whether you have a child in one of these schools or not, we want everyone to go to a school and pray. Go by yourself, meet up with others or join up with Life Teams and pray for our children, parents, teachers, staff and the administration.
Promotion Sunday
Kids and Students move up to their new classes on August 11. When your child checks in they’ll get a new location on their nametag. If you have any questions, just ask one of our Check-In specialists. It can get a little busy during this time at check-in so please be patient and arrive a little early if you can.
Club 56 Summer Discipleship
Time is here for the Summer Discipleship Program for 5th and 6th-grade graduates! We meet once a week during the summer to learn how to; keep personal spiritual journals, learn scripture verses, learn how to pray more effectively and keep track of answered prayers, learn how to have a daily quiet time with God, and develop lasting friendships with the people in the class. Sneak Peek
We know entering into a new group can sometimes be awkward and scary, so we offer an afternoon out just for students entering 7th grade. On August 4th, immediately following the second service we will have a lunch and a parents meeting in The Collective (Student Room). After that, they get an afternoon where they get to hang out with their Sunday School teachers as well as several of our student leaders. Then we will be heading to Main Event…
Camp After Party
Just because camp is over doesn’t mean the fun stops. We’ll be meeting up for a swim/cook-out party Wednesday after we get back from camp. Even if you didn’t go to camp, you’re still invited. Who can come? Students who have completed 7th grade to 12th grade. Clothing/Attire Be sure to wear appropriate swim attire. No bikinis for girls and no Speedos for boys. Church Social
On July 14, come to CrossRidge for an old fashioned church-wide social. We’ll be serving up hot dogs and bounce houses. We’ll have so much fun that you’ll need to invite your family, neighbors, friends and even the cousins you don’t talk to. There is no charge for the event. All you need to do is show up.
Crazy Summer Nights
On June 2nd we will kick off year 2 of Crazy Summer Nights! The easy and fast way to describe this event is by calling it a VBS for the Student Ministry, but instead of arts and crafts, we go all out for crazy and exciting recreation. Good Friday, a day that proclaims God’s purpose of loving and redeeming the world through the cross of Jesus Christ. Worship with us as we remember the cross of Christ Jesus and His sacrifice for us on Friday, March 30th at 7:00 pm. We will receive the Lord’s Supper during our time of worship.
