The time is here for the Summer Discipleship Program for 5th & 6th grade graduates! We meet once a week during the summer to learn how to keep personal spiritual journals, learn scripture verses, learn how to pray more effectively and keep track of answered prayers, learn how to have a daily quiet time with God, and develop lasting friendships with the people in the class.
We will meet for an hour and twenty minutes of study and discussion each week on Wednesday nights at 6:25 pm. Some weeks, when we are finished with our study, we will have a time of fellowship together.
Students need to understand that there is a commitment involved and they will be held responsible for daily Bible reading, journaling, etc. There is a commitment for the parents as well in holding their child responsible for completing the required reading and activities. Deuteronomy 6:4-7 says that parents have the God-given role and ultimate responsibility for encouraging the spiritual growth of their children!
