Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you…Matthew 28:19-20
The call of every Christian is to GO and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to be a church of ‘Great Commission’ disciples who are partnering with other believers here and around the world to support their efforts to plant churches, evangelize the lost, minister to the needs of the community, and serve the least of these around Little Elm, our state, our country, and to the ends of the earth.
We seek to send out short-term teams to serve other churches, missionaries and ministries, and to expose our own church family to other contexts and cultures, allowing God to use those experiences to prompt people to live on mission in their everyday lives.
God has called us as a church to make a difference in this world and we have some incredible opportunities to do that. We need people just like you to help us accomplish our mission. People who want to make an eternal difference with their lives.
We encourage you to prayerfully consider how God can use you by doing any or all of things listed below.
One of the most import parts of any mission trip is prayer. You can easily be part of this mission trip by beginning today to pray. As the departure date approaches a prayer guide will be provided to give specific ways the team needs to be lifted up in prayer.
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed. And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? Romans 10:13-15
Our goal as a church is to pour ourselves out for the sake of the gospel to make disciples of all nations. We want to take the good news of the gospel to places where He has not yet been proclaimed. We do that through partnering with churches and individuals who need the help of what our church can provide. We help strengthen and encourage our partnering churches, plant new churches in places where there is no existing church and evangelize the lost. Short-term trips are an excellent way achieving these goals.
Our desire is to see every member be involved in missions, whether it be through PRAYING, GOING, or GIVING. Our prayer is as our church goes on mission, it will radically change those who went as well as those who are praying and supporting.

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”2 Corinthians 9:7-9
Not everyone is able to go on a mission trip with us. But everyone is able to be involved and to support those who are able to go. Below are the opportunities you have to give towards missions:
Make a Contribution to Support a CrossRidge Missionary
Many CrossRidge missionaries would not be able to go on mission without the help of generous contributions from people like you. You can make a contribution towards an individual going on one of our mission trips by:
You can make a donation to one of the mission funds through our online system. We are not currently able to mark your donation for our online form. However, once we receive your donation we will email you and ask if you are supporting someone specific.
You may give cash or check in person during one of our Sunday Services or drop it our office during normal business hours. Simply fill out an envelope mission giving form and place it in the offering plate at the end of the service or drop it off in our giving box at the Communications Desk. Be sure to include the mission you are giving to and a note of the person you are supporting.
If you wish to send a donation by mail, make sure you put the name of the mission in the memo field and include the giving form with it.
