For The Teel Family

A Message From the Teels As our world stopped turning on July 7th from the sudden loss of our sweet Jagger Dean, our family stopped functioning. From the first phone call, our church Family did what you naturally do and you served us. Grieving parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles all are a part and attend our church and you served them just as well. I want to be vulnerable and honest for a short moment. We know Jagger fell…

Summer Event Changes

Usually, during this time of year, we gear up for the summer. We would have already placed orders, made reservations, contacted volunteers, setup training meetings, given out curriculum, started decorating and so much more. Unfortunately, we have not been able to do any of that this year. Because of COVID, we have had to make changes to our summer programs. Summer Activities Canceled As of now, all our normal summer activities are canceled. This includes: Crazy Summer Nights Vacation Bible…

A Different Easter But Same Savior

I grew up in church and pretty much if the doors were open, I was there. I’ve had more potlucks than homework assignments and sat in more pews and sang more verses of “Just As I Am” than a Fitbit can count. I remember my dad telling people he had a drug problem growing up. He would say his parents’ drug him to church all the time. Obviously, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. My parents were always…

Updates and Cancellations

As everyone knows, normal seems to be a thing of the past. The COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic has created many new challenges. One of these challenges involves our Sunday Services. We will continue to have live stream only services this Sunday. We will live stream our English service…
Transform You Discipleship Classes

Transform You

Spring 2020 starts our new Discipleship Class structure, Transform You. As the author of Romans says in 12:2, we need to “be transformed by the renewing of” our mind and one way that we do this is by meeting together and studying God’s Word. This semester we offer 3 different classes for you to choose from. There’s no cost for the class. We simply ask that you register online and let us know you are coming so we can be…

Marriage to the Max

God has a plan for marriage, and He lays it out clearly in His Word. During this semester, we’ll cover God’s plan for marriage relating to serving our spouse, fighting fair, communicating, forgiving, encouraging, intimacy and more. Whether you are just married, been married for many years or thinking about getting married, this class is for you. We will record each class and post the recordings here. It does take some time to edit the recordings so it may be…

Amazing Summer of Camps

From Denton, Texas to Glorieta, New Mexico, we have experienced some amazing moments through camps this summer through Mini Camp, Preteen Camp, and Student Camp. This was one of the years that some parents dream about. Our Preteen and Student camps lined up to be on the same week in…

Starting at 5:30 in the morning on Sunday, March 10, 14 of our students and 5 student sponsors dedicated their free week to serving the people of NOLA. The ride down went smoothly, with an obligatory stop at Buc-ee’s (how could we not?) and some oh-so-fun carpool karaoke! Upon arriving on Sunday night, students checked in with MissionLab and then made their way to the student…

2018 Fallback Student Retreat

Our students went to the Arbuckle Mountains of Oklahoma this past weekend for their annual Fallback Student Retreat. It may have rained the majority of the time but they had an amazing time of hanging out with each other, getting away from the every-day and learning a lot about Jesus. From campfires to fishing, to smores and belly laughing, our students had an amazing weekend they will remember for a long time. They split up into 2 cabins with girls…

Protect Your House

Not long ago, my fridge at home went out and we needed another one. Being one always looking for a deal I found an open box buy that was in our price point. They delivered it but unfortunately, it didn’t work. Maybe there was a reason it was an open box? Anyways, the place we bought it had a more expensive model that they gave us for the same price. It was delivered, and it worked. Yay! No more living…
